You are looking at the reason why I despise Freeservers and will no longer willingly host my personal site with them. The banner above, the ads to the right and below my text - horrible, disgusting and annoying. Not to mention the pop-ups that you'll get upon closing this window. And for that, I apologize. As I've said before, this was the only option I had available to me when I first set up my website. That's changed.
That said, I would like to apologize to anyone who came here expecting to read my poetry. At this point, it's not going to happen. I'm tired of Freeservers. They have always had banner and pop-up ads and that has always annoyed the living shit out of me. Fortunately, I have access to webspace elsewhere. Webspace that will be 100% banner and pop-up ad free. All the better for the enjoyment of you, my readers.
However... It is going to take some time. I am going to be revamping the way my website looks. I am going to clean it up a bit... I am going to change the appearance somewhat... Keep in mind... When I first designed this website, I was 22/23 years old. I knew squat about web design. (And yes... I know it looks even worse now.) I also thought that using a crapload of black would be the "cool" thing to do. That's not to say that there's not going to be a lot of black on my new page. But the layout will likely be a lot more simple, as well as easier to read.
Unfortunately, I won't likely have a guestbook yet. But I might be able to get it set up so that there'll be a form for you to comment in and, when you click send, it'll email it to me without you having to open your email client.
